Carter Schwartz’s Head of Practice, Private Equity, Lewis Buckley recently advised on two key appointments for international medical devices company, Biocomposites.
Simon Greenhalgh is the new Group Chief Financial Officer, and Peter Webster takes up the position as UK General Manager.
Simon has extensive private equity experience having led on M&A investment and integration activities as Group CFO for Arlington Industries Group. Simon was with the Group for four years. Prior to this, he was Group Finance Director for independent IT distributor, Gamma Global Group.
Pete Webster joins from global diagnostics business, BBI Group where he held the position of Director of Global Technical Operations for six years. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Technical Engineering with Penn Pharmaceuticals. He brings considerable operational and strategic experience at a global level.
Both roles are integral to Biocomposites’ expansion strategy which is to manage the rapid growth it is experiencing, enter new markets and launch new products, whilst driving operational and productivity improvements. Biocomposites products are used in over 120,000 procedures every year and sold in more than 40 countries around the world.
