Nursing and elderly care group, BCOP is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Gore as their new CEO.
This West Midlands based charity provides nursing and residential care and support as well as sheltered housing for older people in Birmingham.
With strong experience in the charitable sector overseeing a number of supported living and extra care services, Helen joins BCOP as an experienced operator and board member. Her most recent position was Head of Operations and Compliance with Gloucester Charities Trust. Prior to this role, Helen was Village Manager for ExtraCare Charitable Trust
Helen’s 25-year history of working with supported housing providers includes both business development (revenue) and capital development programmes. As well as this, she has successfully managed a portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects across the country.
Speaking of her appointment, Helen said, “I am very pleased to be able to bring my mix of skills and experience to BCOP and I’m excited by the challenges ahead. BCOP is built on sound values of serving older people and we are ready to strengthen our existing services and grow to meet the needs of our communities. With a fantastic team at my side I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together”.
