Emma Barnes has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Riverdale Healthcare, part of Apposite Capital’s-backed dental business.

Emma takes over the CEO role from Mark Seekings, who remains as Chairman.

She joins Riverdale from her most recent role as Chief Operating Officer at Linnaeus Veterinary Group. In her time with Linnaeus, Emma had grown the Group to 165 practices and 3000 staff, including 700 vets.

Previously, Emma was an Operations Director for private equity business Laurels, one of the largest funeral care businesses in the UK.
