Adam Carter

Managing Director

With significant market exposure, Adam is widely recognised as one of the most knowledgeable Executive Recruiters within the Independent Health, Social Care and Education arenas. A trusted advisor, he has consistently addressed the management and leadership challenges at CEO, COO and FD level for major providers, emerging corporates, not-for-profits and the investment community across the full spectrum of sector niches. Having spent eighteen years developing this sector for another respected Consultancy, Adam founded Carter Schwartz to focus exclusively on his core markets.

Sharon Clark

Operations Manager

Sharon brings career-long exposure to the HR and Recruitment industries and is extensively networked throughout the Health and Social Care sectors, having taken active involvement in many of the markets’ most high profile appointments. A founding partner of Carter Schwartz, Sharon leads on client and candidate liaison alongside operational responsibility for the Consultant and back office teams.

Linda Stock

Senior Associate

Linda brings extensive operational healthcare experience to the team, having risen through the ranks from hospital management, eventually holding posts at Regional Director, Director of Communications and Director of Operations.  A former statutory Company Director and Chief Operating Offer, she has held senior posts in both private acute hospital groups as well as those with specialist adult mental health provision.  Working with both Global and European healthcare operators, in the UK Linda has also worked closely with the NHS in public sector treatment centres, managing national public contracts and with NHS England for secure mental health provision.  For social care, Linda has experience of working with Local Authorities in England and Scotland.

With over 25 years’ experience Linda is able to offer exceptional insight into the needs of our clients.

Helen Owens

Senior Associate

Helen’s career in healthcare has spanned 20 years and has seen her hold posts in both long-term care and private acute hospitals.  Her roles have included Care Home and Hospital Management positions, progressing through Regional roles, Operations Director and Managing Director for two large corporate providers in Social Care.

 

Helen recognizes the importance high calibre human capital can bring to the success of organisations and the contribution they make to the delivery of quality care.   With her extensive experience and passion for excellence, Helen brings a unique perspective of ‘what good really looks like’ when recruiting in the Care Homes market.

Jessica Paul

Head of Research

Jessica comes to us from an extensive Digital Media and Marketing background, as well as experience in Research and Candidate Management. She has worked with clients internationally in Health and Social care, as well as managing research projects for technology and media clients.

As a former Director of a healthcare recruitment firm, Jessica brings us insight into the Domiciliary Care and Nursing sectors.
